GOURMET ALL DAY WEEKLY
Weekly Private Chef Service Policies
WEEKLY HOME · THIS WEEK’S MENU · HOUSEHOLD PROFILE
Our weekly service is designed to be flexible, personal, and simple. These policies outline how weekly selections, payment, delivery, cancellations, and other service details are handled so you know exactly what to expect.
Please review these policies before completing your Household Profile or submitting a weekly order.
-
GAD Weekly Private Chef Service is offered on a week-to-week basis with no ongoing commitment. A new chef-created menu is released each Wednesday, and clients may chose whether to order or skip service each week.
Each weekly order may include 3, 4, or 5 dinners, with portions serving either 2 or 4 based on the package selected for that week. Clients may choose a different package from week to week.
Weekly selections must be submitted through the GAD Weekly ordering page by Saturday at 5 PM. The ordering window closes at that time, and selections submitted after the deadline are not guaranteed to be accommodated.
Clients who do not wish to order are encouraged to select Skip This Week. If no response is received by the ordering deadline, no order will be placed and no charge will be incurred.
-
GAD Weekly features a shared rotating menu of chef-created dinners. The service is personalized through each household’s profile, preferences, dietary needs, previous selections, and ongoing feedback; however, standard weekly service does not include individually developed or fully customized menus.
We will make reasonable accommodations for documented food allergies, dietary restrictions, and preferences when feasible. Certain dishes or components may not be suitable for modification, and significant substitutions or individually customized preparations may require additional charges or may not be available.
Clients are responsible for keeping the dietary, allergy, preference, and household information in their Household Profile current.
-
Additional portions of dinners included in a client’s weekly order may be requested for $25 per additional serving. Additional portions are only available for dinners already selected as part of that week’s package and are subject to availability.
Certain weekly menus may include a Premium Selection or Market Selection. Premium selections may carry an additional per-person charge, which will be clearly noted on the menu. Market selections may be individually priced based on current ingredient cost and availability.
-
After weekly selections are received and reviewed, GAD will issue an invoice reflecting the selected package and any applicable additional portions, premium selections, delivery charges, or approved modifications.
Payment must be received by Sunday at 8:00 AM to confirm the week’s order.
Submission of weekly selections alone does not confirm an order. An order is considered confirmed only after required payment has been received.
Orders that remain unpaid after the Sunday 8:00 AM deadline may be canceled and will not be included in that week’s production.
-
Confirmed weekly orders may be canceled before Sunday at 8:00 AM for a full refund or credit.
After the Sunday 8:00 AM cutoff, orders are considered final and nonrefundable because ingredient purchasing and production planning have begun.
Refunds or credits are not provided for food that has been successfully prepared and delivered but is later unused or uneaten.
-
GAD makes every effort to prepare each dinner as described on the weekly menu. Because we work with fresh ingredients and supplier availability may change, occasional substitutions may be necessary.
Minor substitutions of comparable ingredients may be made without prior notice. If a substitution materially changes the nature of a dish, we will make reasonable efforts to contact the affected client and provide an appropriate alternative.
Any documented food allergies or dietary restrictions will be considered when making substitutions.
-
GAD Weekly meals are delivered on Tuesday.
Clients may provide a preferred delivery period—morning, afternoon, evening, or anytime—through their Household Profile. Delivery preferences help us plan our route but do not constitute a guaranteed delivery time.
Standard Tuesday delivery within 25 miles of GAD’s service area is included. Deliveries beyond 25 miles may be available for an additional charge and will be quoted individually.
Clients are responsible for keeping delivery addresses, access instructions, gate information, phone numbers, and other relevant delivery information current.
-
If no one will be available to receive an order, unattended delivery must be authorized in advance and requires a safe, approved location capable of maintaining appropriate food temperatures. Examples may include refrigerator access, an adequately insulated cooler, or transfer to a concierge or other authorized recipient.
For food-safety reasons, GAD will not leave meals unattended outdoors or in another location that cannot safely maintain the food.
If delivery cannot be completed because no authorized recipient or safe delivery location is available, GAD will attempt to contact the client. An additional delivery attempt may be subject to availability and an additional delivery charge.
Responsibility for proper storage and handling transfers to the client once the order has been successfully delivered to the client, authorized recipient, or approved unattended delivery location.
-
Meals are prepared, packaged, and labeled for refrigerated storage and reheating as appropriate. Clients should refrigerate delivered meals promptly and follow any storage, reheating, freezing, or consumption instructions provided by GAD.
For the best quality and food safety, meals should be consumed within the recommended timeframe indicated on the packaging or accompanying weekly materials.
GAD is not responsible for deterioration in quality or food-safety concerns resulting from improper storage, handling, reheating, or consumption after the recommended timeframe.
-
While we make every effort to provide service as scheduled, circumstances outside our reasonable control—including severe weather, illness, equipment failure, power outages, ingredient or supply disruptions, road conditions, or other emergencies—may occasionally affect production or delivery.
If service must be modified, delayed, or canceled, GAD will communicate with affected clients as promptly as reasonably possible and determine an appropriate resolution, which may include rescheduling, substitution, credit, or refund depending on the circumstances.
-
Clients are responsible for maintaining accurate contact information, delivery details, household information, allergies, dietary restrictions, and other information that may affect their service.
Weekly menu announcements, ordering reminders, invoices, and other communications are provided as a convenience. Clients remain responsible for submitting selections and payment by the applicable deadlines even if a reminder or notification is not received.
-
By completing the GAD Weekly Household Profile, submitting a weekly order, and/or making payment for GAD Weekly service, the client acknowledges and agrees to the current GAD Weekly Private Chef Service Policies.
Policies may be updated periodically as the service evolves. The most current version published by Gourmet All Day will apply to future weekly orders.
